Would you like to create a meaningful everyday life in the Pjäsens dementia unit?
Pjäsen is a modern nursing home centrally located in Visby, with a total of 100 apartments spread over four floors.
We take pride in our broad expertise and our dedicated employees who support each other across our 10 departments. Three of these departments specialize in housing for individuals with dementia. Here, the resident is always at the center, and we work with individual care plans based on our shared values: trust, care, and participation.
We are currently seeking two new engaged colleagues for our dementia units!
Your Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant or resident assistant in our dementia unit, you will actively work to create security, stimulation, and joy for our residents. Together with your colleagues, you will provide personal care, service efforts, activities, companionship, medication administration, and other delegated health and medical tasks.
You will also have a contact person role, which involves working with care plans, documentation, communication with relatives, and simpler administrative tasks.
Your schedule includes daytime, evening, and every other weekend shifts.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and contribute to a pleasant, secure, and meaningful everyday life for our residents in the dementia unit.
If you are applying as a nursing assistant: You have the education and qualifications required for the protected title of nursing assistant.
If you are applying as a resident assistant: You have a high school education. It is an added advantage if you have a healthcare-oriented education, such as a care assistant.
Experience or education in elderly care or dementia care is meritorious. Experience working with individuals with cognitive or medical disabilities, or in palliative care, is particularly valuable.

You are proactive, flexible, and can work both independently and collaboratively. You are attentive to people's different needs, open to change, and appreciate learning together with colleagues.
Since documentation and communication are conducted in Swedish, it is important that you have a good command of the language, both spoken and written.

About the Social Administration
As part of Region Gotland, we at the social administration work with social interventions such as counseling, support, and treatment. Our areas of operation include social services, home healthcare, elderly care, and care for individuals with disabilities throughout Gotland.
