We are currently seeking a nursing assistant for our staffing pool. As a nursing assistant in the pool, you will have a varied and flexible job where you substitute for short-term absences and provide support as needed within home care, elderly care, and support/care services (LSS). You may start your day in one unit and finish in another – variety is part of the job!
The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Job Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant in the pool, your workplace will vary from day to day. The role involves substituting for staff who are absent for various reasons, such as illness or childcare.
You need to enjoy the variation of different workplaces; you might start your morning in one unit and be somewhere else in the afternoon. Working in our nursing assistant pool requires high levels of flexibility, responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism. You will work within home care, elderly care, and support and care housing/LSS.
We expect you to perform care and service tasks based on both planned visits and alerts from individuals. Your responsibilities will also include carrying out health and medical tasks as delegated by licensed healthcare professionals, such as district nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, in accordance with health and medical legislation.
You will collaborate with various professional roles to provide the best possible support to users based on their individual needs and circumstances. Documentation is an important task, and you will be responsible for documenting events related to users in social documentation according to applicable legislation. This means you must express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and have computer skills.
Documentation is done in Pulsen Combine. You will work according to a schedule, and the pool is booked by the staffing unit, which includes flexibility regarding shift changes based on operational needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a certificate of protected professional title issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. We prefer candidates with prior experience working as a nursing assistant in elderly care.
You need to be meticulous, responsible, and easy to work with.
You must have a professional attitude.
You are calm and secure, with the ability to plan the activities of your shift and can quickly adapt and change interventions based on changing circumstances.
You are responsible and can work independently as well as in a team.
A driver's license is a requirement.
