About this role
How exciting that you are interested in working with us!
Here in western Värmland, among expansive lakes and lush forests, there is a strong passion that spreads warmth and illuminates. This passion is our vision and guiding star. Today, approximately 2,700 competent employees work in the Arvika Municipal Group. Welcome, you too!
As a nursing assistant within Arvika Municipality's care and support services, you are part of a team that makes everyday life work for people who need support.
It's about responsibility, initiative, and solving situations when it really matters.
You will work alongside committed colleagues and a manager – people who support each other and do their best every day. We value collaboration, respect, and a clear drive to get things done.
Our employees are professionals who take their assignments seriously and see the results of their work every day, year-round. Although your colleagues are available for support, it's important that you also take personal responsibility when you are out among those we care for. You will solve various situations from physically demanding tasks to small interventions that make a difference, make decisions, and ensure daily life functions for those who need support. In this job, you will encounter different people and challenges – no two days are alike.
Are you looking for a job where you can take responsibility, work closely with people, and see concrete results of your efforts? Then you've found the right place.
About the Position
Höglunda Home Care is a walking and cycling group with a central location in Arvika, and we also have access to a car within the work group when needed. We share a location with the municipality's night patrol. We work together to provide residents with daily support – from personal care and meals to social activation. The municipality also offers respite care for family members. Through professional care and respectful treatment, we create security and contribute to improved quality of life for those we care for. You will work from a newly renovated and well-equipped facility that provides excellent conditions for efficient work.
We always start from the question 'What is important to you' when supporting those we care for – for us, each individual is unique, and we deliver care with heart and compassion.
All our new employees receive an introductory training at our competence center and a practical introduction at the workplace together with a colleague, based on individual needs in dialogue with the manager.
The position is a permanent employment, with working hours scheduled for day/evening/weekend. Start date by agreement.
