About Us Närhälsan Vara Healthcare Center is a large clinic with approximately 14,800 registered patients, located in a small rural community near Skövde, Lidköping, Trollhättan, and Alingsås. We have around 60 employees at Närhälsan Vara Healthcare Center. We have a stable and structured approach as the foundation of our work. We are working to increase continuity for our patients. Our staff is divided into four teams consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, psychologists, and administrative personnel. Three times a week, teams gather to review their patients and prepare for upcoming contacts and visits. We have a close collaboration with Närhälsan Rehab, as they are located in the same building. We also have a well-developed collaboration with the local municipality. Your tasks at the healthcare center and emergency clinic are varied, with patients at the focus. Work includes assisting doctors with wound care and minor surgeries, performing common examinations such as blood pressure measurements and ECGs, wound dressings, suture removal, etc. Some laboratory work with sample collection and analysis may also be required. Preparing examination rooms is part of the daily work. You will work both independently and in teams with other staff categories at both the healthcare center and emergency clinic. We use the Asynja Visph journal system. About You You are a trained nursing assistant. Previous experience working at a healthcare center and/or emergency clinic, including wound dressing, suture removal, blood pressure measurement, etc., is meritorious. You are accommodating, attentive, and have a desire to help others. You enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. Workload varies and can be intense, so it is important that you can prioritize tasks, be flexible, and work independently. A professional approach and good treatment of customers, patients, and colleagues are a matter of course for you. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant in healthcare.
