Are you a nursing assistant with experience in care and welfare? Do you enjoy driving and want to be part of our night patrol team? Then you might be the candidate we're looking for! The night patrol team operates from Nyby Home Care, Svartbäckens Home Care, and Sävja Home Care, where we prepare to visit various home care units. After receiving reports and reviewing documentation, we collect keys and visit customers with scheduled night visits. The night patrol also handles emergency calls from across Uppsala Municipality during nighttime. Your Role As a nursing assistant, you will provide good care based on individual needs, with great respect for the person and their self-determination, promoting an independent, active, and meaningful life according to their conditions and requirements. Your tasks include performing delegated tasks from licensed personnel and documenting in accordance with the Social Services Act. You are expected to communicate with clients, relatives, other professionals in the organization, and other stakeholders. The role also involves working to promote health and developing both the organization and yourself in close collaboration with colleagues. Your Background We are seeking a nursing assistant with a professional certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You should have experience in care and welfare. To succeed, you need experience working with elderly in home care or similar settings and performing healthcare interventions delegated by healthcare professionals. Experience with dementia care or palliative end-of-life care is advantageous. The role requires excellent verbal and written Swedish, comfort with digital tools, good computer skills, and experience documenting in systems like LifeCare. To work in the night patrol, you must have a B driver's license and be comfortable driving on the job.
