The emergency department currently has about 45 employees. We receive emergency cases in surgery, orthopedics, and internal medicine during the emergency department's opening hours from 8 AM to 9 PM every day of the week. In surgery and orthopedics, we also treat children. The emergency department handles approximately 22,000 emergency visits annually. We are now seeking a nursing assistant/care assistant who wants to be part of our team this summer. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be skilled at prioritizing your tasks. You want to contribute to optimizing the acute care of our patients, and your perspective is characterized by a genuine concern for people. **Responsibilities** Here in the emergency department, you will be part of interdisciplinary teams alongside doctors, nurses, and medical secretaries in the acute care of patients with surgical, orthopedic, and general medical conditions. You will work in various positions in the emergency department, such as in triage or in teams. The work is varied, challenging, and stimulating. **Qualifications** We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, or alternatively, a medical student or nursing student. If you are a medical student, we prefer that you have completed semester 6. If you are studying in the nursing program, you need to have completed semester 3 or semester 4, depending on your educational program. Experience in emergency care is a significant advantage, preferably from an emergency department. Knowledge of casting is meritorious. We seek someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is driven to work in a developing setting. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, where the ability to collaborate in a team and prioritize tasks are important qualities, as well as being flexible. **Nursing Assistant Protected Title** As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant within healthcare and social services.
