We are now seeking permanent employed nursing assistants for the clinic.

About You
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with several years of work experience. Experience in healthcare or emergency care is advantageous but not a requirement.
The work can be demanding at times and requires resilience to stress and the ability to prioritize. You can take the initiative to solve and manage situations that arise. As a person, you are confident, stable, and possess good self-awareness. You conduct yourself professionally at all levels and meet patients, colleagues, and partners in a humble and respectful manner.
You are committed to wanting to develop and improve and have a positive attitude that contributes to a good work environment.

Your Future Workplace
The Emergency Clinic at Kalmar County Hospital provides emergency care around the clock, both for individuals who come to the emergency department on their own and those who arrive by ambulance. We collaborate with most clinics at the hospital, the ambulance service, the police authority, the correctional services, the social services, other hospitals, and home healthcare in nearby municipalities.
Our clinic consists of two parts:
Emergency Reception: At the emergency reception, we work in teams of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants, with transport personnel and administrative support from medical secretaries and clerks. You will participate in the assessment, treatment, and care of individuals seeking assistance at the emergency clinic. There is also triage, which is the first contact with patients; we work with triage according to Retts, to manage patients at the appropriate care level and in a timely manner as much as possible.
Acute Care Unit AVA: is a hospital-wide resource with 14 care places. It is a one-day unit where we assess and treat patients who require continued observation and/or short-term care for a maximum of one day. We have close collaboration with the geriatric advisory team available at the emergency clinic.
Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialized care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2,300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety for the county's residents.
