Read more about the operations at Kumla Prison on our website: https://www.kriminalvarden.se/kontakt/hitta-och-kontakta/verksamhet/anstalt/kumla/#verksamhet **JOB DESCRIPTION** In this role as an intelligence operator, your primary tasks will involve working within the intelligence cycle to improve the risk and safety assessment of clients, as well as supporting security work within the Swedish National Prison and Probation Service. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the integration of intelligence work into operations, thereby enhancing local security efforts and improving the quality of client work. You must be able to manage your own area of responsibility while also contributing to the overall workplace and fostering good collaboration. As part of a team consisting of several operators within the area of operations, strong communication and social skills are essential. The role also includes external cooperation with other authorities. You will work with assignments formulated at local, regional, and central levels. You are expected to actively and independently produce intelligence reports, address local operational intelligence needs, and support the central intelligence function. Travel may occur in this position, and you need to be prepared for possible assignments in locations other than the agreed-upon ones. **QUALIFICATIONS** We are looking for individuals who possess strong analytical skills with an interest and commitment to information security and security-related issues. You handle complex matters well and take great responsibility for your tasks by effectively organizing and prioritizing your duties. Your decisions are based on conscious considerations, and you always act with the best interests of the organization in mind. You have good collaborative skills and understand the importance of maintaining strong professional relationships in all contexts. Requirements: • Completed upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or school-leaving certificate. • Relevant extensive professional experience. • Excellent ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish. • Good computer skills and IT knowledge. We also consider it advantageous if you have: • Relevant higher education preferably in political science, behavioral science, law, or pedagogy. • Training in intelligence operations. • Well-documented service within an intelligence function. • Experience from the Swedish National Prison and Probation Service or another part of the justice system. • Experience of internal and external collaboration and a good understanding of the missions of cooperating authorities. • Particularly beneficial is experience working with relational databases. • Good command of the English language. • Other language skills. • A B driving license.
