The Medicine Clinic is one of the largest clinics in Region Kronoberg, with facilities in Växjö and Ljungby. At the Medicine Clinic in Växjö, we provide both outpatient and inpatient specialized care in internal medicine, other internal medical specialties (excluding geriatrics), as well as neurology, rheumatology, and allergology. JOB DESCRIPTION
As a deputy doctor at the Medicine Clinic, you are an important and valued resource primarily on our care wards and emergency department, and in some cases also at outpatient clinics. Your work on the ward includes, among other tasks, rounds, discharges, and admissions, and in the emergency department, you manage patients with the support of a licensed supervisor. From day one, you will be assigned a personal mentor, and we focus heavily on providing you with a good introduction to working as a doctor in the region in general, and specifically as a deputy doctor with us.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who holds a medical degree. Previous experience as a deputy doctor and/or in a medicine clinic is seen as a positive. Having a medical license is an advantage but not a requirement.
As a person, you demonstrate a good attitude, excellent collaborative skills, and flexibility. You always work with the patient in focus. Furthermore, you possess strong communication skills and have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
