Enköping Primary Care Center
Our 1,800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We provide a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at the Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we offer advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we tailor our services based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video consultations, and smart e-services.
We are looking for a medical intern at Enköping Primary Care Center!
Are you a licensed physician or a recent graduate awaiting residency with an interest in primary care? We offer a fixed-term employment for one year at 100% with a start date as agreed.

Your role
With us, you will have a varied job in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. Your main duties will consist of outpatient work. Together, we work for the health of the residents!
Your qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with Swedish certification, or you who are a recent graduate awaiting residency. You have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and a strong interest in primary care. You may have the ambition to become a general practitioner at a later stage. It is advantageous if you have previously worked as a junior physician.
As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively, and to be successful in this position, you need to be flexible in your working style. Your ability to collaborate and willingness to develop the organization will be beneficial to us. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
Our organization
The health center belongs to the administration of Close Care and Health, Region Uppsala, and is centrally located adjacent to the hospital in Enköping. The organization also includes a branch in Fjärdhundra. The health center, together with the branch, has about 9,500 registered patients, and at the center, we have around 40 employees working closely together. We have a good collaboration with the hospital, and there is an emergency reception nearby. Our patients come from both urban and surrounding rural areas.
