Region Skåne operates in many locations. All our hospitals provide patients with care across several different medical specialties. Skåne University Hospital is the third largest in Sweden and offers highly specialized care in Malmö and Lund. In Helsingborg, Kristianstad, and Ystad, there are acute hospitals with maternity care. Local hospitals are available in Hässleholm, Landskrona, Trelleborg, and Ängelholm.
In psychiatry, there are inpatient care facilities in Helsingborg, Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Lund, Malmö, and Trelleborg. Youth clinics and psychiatric outpatient care are available in several locations throughout Skåne. Region Skåne also has Medical Services, which has extensive operations in laboratory medicine and ambulance care across multiple locations. Primary care is well developed in Skåne with numerous health centers, child health clinics, and midwifery clinics throughout the region. Within Close Care and Health, there are services including palliative care, advanced home healthcare, and evening and weekend clinics. JOB DESCRIPTION
As a junior doctor with us, you will have competent, engaged colleagues and a varied work environment. We are looking for employees in several different areas within our organization, and you can specify in which field and location you wish to work. We will take your preferences into account when matching you with the departments that have indicated a need.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician or who have a medical degree with the qualifications to practice within Swedish healthcare. You can also apply for a summer job as a junior doctor if you have completed at least the ninth semester of your medical education or completed the tenth semester if you have followed the new program structure starting in the autumn of 2021 or later. Both are contingent upon having passed the entire course within the specialty you will be covering. You must have language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale.

We value your ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as your good collaboration skills.
