Your workplace
The Nephrology Clinic is responsible for specialized kidney care in Värmland. Ward 33 is a medical acute care unit with expertise in nephrology. Here, we work with the investigation of kidney diseases as well as preparations for hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). We care for both acutely ill patients and those in a more stable condition, aged 18 and above. Length of stay varies from a few days to several weeks, providing a dynamic and educational work environment.

Your responsibilities
The tasks as a junior doctor vary depending on the area of work you are in. The role involves personal responsibility under supervision. We believe that healthcare must be based on our patients' needs and the competencies of our staff.
Your qualifications and skills
We are looking for you who will have completed at least semester 10 of your medical education in Sweden or another EU/EEA country by spring 2026, or who have graduated from your medical education in Sweden or another EU/EEA country. You should have passed the courses and exams within the medical field relevant to the position. You also need to have a passing grade in Swedish as a second language 3 (SVA3), C1, or eligibility for higher education studies, or have passed a knowledge test.
As a person, you are outgoing, have good collaborative skills, and enjoy taking responsibility together with the rest of the team, focusing on high patient safety and quality in care. You are proactive, clear, and structured, with a good pedagogical approach.
