Welcome to Handens Primary Care Center!
We are now looking for an engaged colleague to join Handens Primary Care Center!
Handens Primary Care Center is located near Haninge Center, with restaurants, grocery stores, and good public transport connections.
We also have a Local Clinic out in Dalarö, set in a beautiful archipelago environment.
Handens Primary Care Center is growing rapidly, and we currently have nearly 21,200 registered patients.
In the Haninge results unit, in addition to Handens Primary Care Center, we have Dalarö Primary Care Center with archipelago assignments, Haninge Rehab, Haninge BVC with a family center, a psychosocial team, and we also have an integrated home care service with about 180 patients enrolled under a responsible district physician. Besides medical consultations, we also offer psychosocial consultations, nurse-led diabetes, asthma/COPD, and hypertension clinics, osteoporosis clinics, and a minor emergency clinic with close collaboration with the urgent care center.

We have teams of district physicians and junior doctors working with the same patient list to increase continuity in patient care. Together, we drive improvement initiatives to meet the future needs of healthcare.
Job Responsibilities
Consist of all tasks associated with being a junior doctor at a primary care center, meaning you will work with both acute and planned patient consultations. The work is varied and independent, allowing you to meet patients of all ages.
Employment Type
Fixed-term employment for six months, full-time, working hours Monday to Friday, start date to be agreed upon.

We are looking for you who are a junior doctor with an interest in primary care.

The position will be filled provided it is not needed for internal reassignment, according to applicable regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:
- A background check will be conducted before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at a C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
