HVAC Maintenance Technician for STC

About the Role We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Scania Technical Center (STC) in Södertälje. At STC, all research and development for Scania take place, which means no two days are the same. We offer a highly varied work environment in an organization with excellent employee benefits. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our process and media installations. Our mission is to ensure that test cells and test rigs have the right availability year-round and that all office spaces have the appropriate indoor climate. This also includes planning and implementing corrective and preventive maintenance, contact with suppliers, and participation in various projects. Your Main Responsibilities • Ventilation units (preventive and corrective maintenance) • Responsible for heating and cooling • Responsible for compressed air • Responsible for water and sewage • General property management in HVAC Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a technical maintenance education and several years of experience in similar work. For this position, you must be meticulous and have a high safety awareness. As you will have daily contact with our customers, service orientation is a crucial attribute. You will be part of a maintenance group, but most work is performed independently, which requires self-drive and initiative. Who Are We? Property Maintenance manages all buildings at STC and Building 180, consisting of a group manager, a coordinator/planner, 5 HVAC technicians, 3 electricians, 2 in lifting and construction, and one cooling technician.
