Randstad is now seeking a driven and solution-oriented maintenance technician for an exciting assignment at our client, AstraZeneca in Södertälje. Here you'll have the chance to work in a high-tech environment where your work ensuring operational reliability is crucial.
As a maintenance technician at AstraZeneca, you'll become a key person in production. The work is structured in 5-shift rotations, which requires your flexibility but also provides longer continuous time off. You'll work in a team characterized by high tempo and continuous improvements. Your main tasks include planning and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting and documentation. You'll work proactively to eliminate root causes of errors using Lean tools and data analysis, and actively participate in improvement work.
We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, structured, and initiative-driven, thriving in a demanding, fast-paced environment. To succeed in the role, you must have technical high school competence, documented experience with TPM work, and good communication skills in Swedish and English. Experience in clean room environments and/or electrical and automation competence is highly meritorious.
Responsibilities
Job Tasks:
• Preparation, planning, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Troubleshooting and restoring equipment, documenting work, and working to eliminate root causes of wear
• Problem-solving using Lean tools
• Collecting data, analyzing, improving, and eliminating recurring component failures
• Participating in improvement work and developing activities based on conducted analyses
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma with technical orientation, preferably in control engineering and/or mechanics
• Documented experience with TPM-related tasks
• Strong initiative and ability to generate ideas and independently solve problems
• Comfortable working at a high tempo in a demanding and developing environment
• Excellent ability to dialogue and express yourself verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English
Meritorious
• Previous experience in maintenance work in clean room classified environments
• Electrical and/or automation experience
