**Maintenance Electrician – Volvo Trucks**

We are now looking for someone who is driven to work with maintenance and continuous improvements of our production equipment.
The Umeå factory is one of the largest factories within the Volvo Group. With our 1,800 employees, we are one of the largest industries in Norrland. Here, cabs for Volvo Trucks are produced, from steel rolls to painted cabs. Our operations are among the most modern in the world, featuring advanced technology and skilled employees, with a high degree of automation that is constantly evolving, offering varied job content and significant opportunities for personal development.
As a maintenance electrician with us, you will work with both corrective and preventive maintenance in our production facility. You will report the activities carried out in our maintenance system and also engage in analysis and follow-up. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally through process teams and participate in projects. When necessary, you will also support and instruct other staff in maintenance during fault resolution and root cause analysis. If you are a person who enjoys a challenge in a high-intensity environment, possesses strong communication skills, can collaborate with various functions, and wishes to learn more about maintenance technology to develop in your role, you are exactly the person we are looking for!
**Qualifications**
* Theoretical knowledge at least corresponding to a secondary school's Electrical program with a focus on electricity or automation
* Practical experience of several years in electrical/automation work
* Training in Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic S7 Classic, Simulation, and TIA Portal Safety
* Extensive hands-on experience in troubleshooting and programming PLC systems
* Knowledge of machine safety, standards, etc.
**Meritorious**
* Experience in manufacturing or process industry
* Experience working with the IFS Maintenance System
* Experience in project work
* Robotics expertise
