Maintenance Technician for Our Facility in Torup Are you looking for new challenges and want to be part of a successful company? Then you might be who we're seeking! Our facility in Torup delivers textiles to healthcare across large parts of southern Sweden. Our business model is to offer "textile as a service," and we are convinced that renting, instead of owning, is the way forward. In Torup, we have approximately 90 employees in customer service, production, warehouse, and maintenance. We are now seeking a maintenance technician who can work in shifts, alternating between day and evening shifts every other week. What Does the Maintenance Technician Role Involve? The tasks include participating in maintenance work for both daily and preventive maintenance. You will be part of a maintenance team of five people. The work involves collaboration with other maintenance team members and production staff, as well as independent work. More specifically, the role includes: • Management/operation of property, ventilation, chemical handling, and boiler/steam systems. • Work in plumbing, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics. • Preventive maintenance and repairs of production equipment such as dryers, washing machines, and peripheral equipment. • Performing inspections according to "continuous supervision". • Planning and follow-up of preventive maintenance. • Varied working hours according to a rotating schedule. As a person, you are service-oriented, driven, and a structured problem solver. You are a good team player accustomed to collaboration but also take significant personal responsibility for tasks. Furthermore, you have an excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing and can see the utility of documentation in our maintenance system (TOM). What Can You Do? We are looking for someone with at least a high school diploma and a genuine interest in technology. You have likely worked previously as a mechanic or technician, perhaps with experience in industrial process operations. Experience with electrical and pneumatic systems is meritorious. Additionally, you have computer skills and administrative ability and are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
