Job Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will become part of a dedicated team of 15 people responsible for service, maintenance, improvement work, and project participation. A responsive and driven group with strong cohesion and a positive work environment. The team's collective vision is to prevent any operational downtime due to inadequate maintenance.
In this role, you will contribute to high technical availability of production and process equipment by performing both preventive and corrective maintenance. You will identify, propose, and implement improvement measures in close collaboration with service engineers, operators, and machine suppliers. An important part of your work will also involve ensuring operator maintenance competence and analyzing equipment failures and trends to continuously develop the operation.
Your Main Tasks:
• Preparation, planning, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Troubleshooting and restoring equipment, documenting work, and working to eliminate root causes of wear
• Problem-solving using Lean tools
• Collecting data, analyzing, improving, and eliminating recurring component failures
• Participating in improvement work and developing activities based on conducted analyses
The company operates 24/7, and you will work a 5-shift schedule.
Your Profile
You should possess the following:
• High school competence or relevant work experience (experience in electrical and automation fields)
• Studies at Mälardalen Technical High School (MTG) are meritorious
• Technical high school diploma, preferably with a focus on control technology and/or mechanics
• Documented experience with TPM-related tasks
• Good initiative and ability to generate ideas and independently solve problems
• Comfortable working at a high pace in a demanding and developmental environment
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
Meritorious
• Previous experience with maintenance work in clean room environments (RKC environment)
• Electrical and/or automation experience
