**About the Position**
Textilia Rimbo is now seeking a driven and independent maintenance technician specializing in mechanics and electrical work.
You will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance on the laundry's production equipment and facilities.
This is a permanent full-time position located in Rimbo, although a fixed-term contract (previously a probationary period) may initially apply. The work involves shift work.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Carry out corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical issues
- Inspect machines/facilities to detect deficiencies at an early stage
- Collaborate with your team to keep production disruptions at a low level
- Engage in improvement work
- Other related tasks
**Your Qualities**
You are resilient and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks at hand. Additionally, you are curious and technically inclined. You understand that preventive maintenance and improvement work on our production lines, in close collaboration with production staff, contribute to a good work environment and quality at all levels.
Therefore, you pay extra attention to delivering a high level of service and availability when the demand for your services is greatest.
As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and open-minded.
With a team-oriented mindset, you are a valued teammate who enjoys working both independently and in a group. It is important that you can express yourself clearly in both spoken and written Swedish and can understand instructions and other information essential for performing the job.
**Experience and Education**
You have at least a high school education and relevant work experience in electrical and mechanical fields. Previous experience in maintenance work is an advantage.
It is a plus if you have language skills in English and German, as many of our machine suppliers we consult are located abroad.
