About the Position
We are seeking a consultant for an assignment at the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) that involves case management and financial follow-up. The Northern Region's maintenance operations have a temporary vacancy in the planning area. You will work with planning and coordination of the maintenance plan. This includes receiving and interpreting instructions, structuring work, ensuring the quality of submitted documentation, and continuous follow-up. You will be the "spider in the web" for those ordering assignments and those who will execute them. In the planner role, you will have daily contact with project teams, provide support to managers, and closely collaborate with controllers.
Other Work Tasks:
- Planning and coordination of the maintenance plan
- Manage existing and upcoming internal orders
- Review action descriptions and attachments
- Structuring work and ensuring quality of submitted documentation with continuous follow-up of the maintenance plan
- Receive and interpret instructions, create and coordinate needs lists
- Analyze and follow up on measures/assignments and orders, and propose decisions
- Participate in financial follow-ups
- Management support, training, and improvement work
Assignment Period and Scope
The maintenance planner position is a full-time consultant assignment to begin as soon as possible, no later than 2025-12-01, and is expected to continue until 2027-09-30.
The duty station is Luleå, and remote work is permitted according to the Swedish Transport Administration's internal guidelines, specifically 60% at the office and 40% remote, subject to agreement with the client.
Position Requirements:
• Higher education in economics, technical orientation, or equivalent
• At least three (3) years of work experience in similar roles
• Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent, especially Excel
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of relevant financial systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, etc.)
These requirements must be clearly stated in your CV, with time periods specified in year-month (YY-MM) format and verifiable through at least one approved and relevant reference assignment.
Meritorious Qualifications:
• Experience with operational follow-up/operational planning
• Work experience in contract performance follow-up
