Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Konvex AB is seeking a self-driven, practical maintenance mechanic who is eager to learn and interested in participating in various development projects within the company, primarily focusing on the machinery fleet. **Role Description:** Your main responsibilities at Konvex will include performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in our production facility in Karlskoga. You will be responsible, along with others, for our spare parts inventory and will independently carry out repairs on existing equipment, as well as determine when new parts need to be purchased. You will work and report via work orders in a maintenance system. **Desired Profile:** Your personality is characterized by being a team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve common goals. You have a strong drive to learn new areas of work. You are analytical and meticulous, can take initiative, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. **Qualifications:** - Good welding/sheet metal working skills are required, primarily using stainless steel MMA; renovations via overlay welding are also included, with no requirement for active licenses. - Solid experience in inventory, seals, lubrication, etc. - Good experience in transmission, gear systems, etc. It is advantageous if you have completed training such as: - Hot Work - Mobile Work Platforms - Fall Protection - Overhead Crane - Forklift Experience working with maintenance systems is also a plus. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, and you should be a calm individual who values the safety of others and can meet the company's requirements from an infection safety perspective.
