Primary Work Tasks At PiteEnergi, the maintenance engineer is a crucial part of keeping our electrical grid operationally secure and sustainable long-term. In this role, you will primarily focus on our transmission network, while your colleague has primary responsibility for the stations. Together, you ensure the electrical grid functions properly every day, year-round. The work involves close collaboration with various organizational functions to optimize electrical facility management. You will plan, follow up, and develop preventive maintenance, create short and long-term maintenance plans based on risk assessments, and analyze reports to identify appropriate actions. You will contribute your expertise to developing routines, systems, and strategies within the maintenance area. You will also be involved in planning and procurement and have contact with contractors and suppliers. Everything we do is based on quality, safety, and long-term operation of our electrical facilities. Education and Work Experience We believe you have post-secondary education in a relevant technical field, such as electrical power, operations, or maintenance – or equivalent practical experience in the industry. If you have worked with electrical power operations and maintenance, perhaps as a technician, this could be a good foundation for growing into the role with us. Most importantly, you have technical interest, understanding of how the electrical grid works, and a desire to develop together with us. You need to have a B driver's license and be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Personal Qualities To thrive in the role, you are communicative, solution-oriented, have good collaboration skills, and enjoy driving development. You are unpretentious and readily share your expertise with the organization. As a person, you are quality-conscious, meticulous, and structured, with the ability to work both independently and in a group.
