The job involves giving lectures and conducting training on the topic of men's violence against women from a feminist perspective, as well as developing educational materials to tailor lectures. It also includes collaborating and building networks with local stakeholders and authorities, and contributing to shaping public opinion.
The work is independent and should be carried out in collaboration with the board. You will naturally contribute to organizational development based on the organization's goals and purpose together with the personnel manager and our board. As the coordinator for our counseling center, you will meet women who have experienced violence.
Qualifications:
- Journalism degree or equivalent higher education.
- Ability to independently manage your own projects.
- Knowledge of the mechanisms of violence and experience working at a women’s shelter.
- Experience in networking and external communication and the ability to hold lectures and manage our podcast in Tyresö community radio.
Salary: Individual salary setting. Please state your salary expectations in your application.
Employment terms: The position is part-time at 50% with the possibility of extension to 75% depending on funding approval. A probationary period of 6 months will apply.
Start date: February 1, 2026, or possibly earlier.
