The Legal Department is responsible for the legal governance of the agency's activities, which involves interpreting the regulations that govern Försäkringskassan's operations. The department is also responsible for legal development work, including regulatory development and consultations on legal issues. Additionally, the department is involved in case law formation, which includes litigation at the highest court level.
Administration, Support, and Collaboration
You will be part of an office with the department’s administrative assistants and will work closely with the department's managers while serving as the contact person for other units both internally and externally.
The Legal Department’s office is responsible for providing operational support to the department’s managers. This includes planning, coordination, and monitoring the department’s overall need for administrative support.
In this role, you will handle invoices, procurement, purchases, meeting administration, meeting documentation, as well as administration of security, preparedness, and access issues. You will manage and develop the department's digital platforms.
The position also involves providing administrative support within the area of case law formation, which includes some case management.
One of the positions includes administration of international matters, such as compiling information for EU bodies and handling inquiries from other countries.
You will participate in organizing larger conferences and in producing and disseminating information for the department.
You will collaborate with and serve as a contact person for other units both internally and externally. As an employee of Försäkringskassan, you will need to have a high level of security awareness since the agency handles confidential information.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has completed secondary education and further education in administration, paralegal studies, or equivalent
- Has several years of experience in administrative work within public administration
- Has a systematic and meticulous working method

- Acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- Is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
- Quickly identifies problems and resolves them appropriately.

It is advantageous if you:
- Hold a relevant degree from a university, such as in law or social sciences
- Have several years of experience working in a government agency
- Have experience as a court clerk, paralegal, or equivalent role involving simpler legal tasks
- Have experience as a project manager or similar
- Have experience taking responsibility for the development of tasks within your area of work
- Have experience providing qualified administrative support to managers
- Have knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act, as well as the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act
- Are proficient in using IT tools and systems for administration and document management.
