Solution Architect in Healthcare and Social Services
As a solutions architect in healthcare and social services, you will contribute to projects that make a real difference for patients, healthcare providers, and society as a whole – while developing the future of digital health.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a solutions architect in the healthcare and social services (HVO) sector, you will become a key person in developing sustainable and efficient IT solutions for critical e-health services. You will contribute to government assignments such as national healthcare mediation and comparison services for care providers. The role involves analyzing, modeling, and specifying solutions that meet both operational and technical needs. You will collaborate closely with agile development teams, business experts, and other architects to ensure long-term and user-friendly solutions. This assignment gives you the opportunity to influence how future digital healthcare is built – with a focus on quality, accessibility, and societal benefit.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze needs, requirements, and existing solutions to develop sustainable solution architecture.
* Model application and technology architecture and ensure traceability between requirements and solution.
* Support development teams with technical requirements, guidelines, and decision-making documentation.
* Collaborate with business experts, other architects, and technical specialists to create comprehensive solutions.
* Contribute to the development of national e-health services, such as healthcare mediation and comparison services.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
- Have at least four years of experience working with advanced solution architecture and want to contribute to societal benefit.
- Are comfortable analyzing complex needs and translating them into sustainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate without ego and thrive in agile teams where you share knowledge and build trust.
- Are responsible, curious, and stable – with the ability to see both the big picture and details.
- Have a relevant university degree or equivalent knowledge.
It is meritorious if you have
- Worked as an IT or solutions architect in e-health, public sector, or similar complex environments
- Experience with integration architecture, API design, and platforms like Azure, AWS, or OpenShift
- Knowledge of healthcare-related standards and services, such as HL7 FHIR, SITHS, HSA, or Sjunet
- Certification in architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or agile methodology (e.g., SAFe Agilist)
