Stureskolan is a 7-9 school located in central Boden with approximately 360 students. The school has a preparatory class for newly arrived students, an adapted primary school, and an international school ISB (International School of Boden). Stureskolan is organized into four work teams, each with an associated special education teacher who also serves as team leader. The school has a well-developed local student health team consisting of principal, deputy principals, special education teachers, school counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, and study and career guidance counselor. The school also has a safety team comprising two safety coordinators and several safety resources who actively work to create relationships and safety during school breaks in corridors and the student café. We continuously work to improve goal achievement and teaching quality. Our focus areas are increased student attendance and developed linguistic ability. We continuously develop and improve instruction through our work with BUUS (Boden Systematically Develops Teaching).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking someone who wants to work with our safety coordinator and safety team to ensure our students enjoy and feel safe at school. Your primary task is to be a good role model and be available to create good conversations and relationships with our youth, while also being able to organize various break activities. You should be able to conduct preventive work, which means being available and visible primarily in corridors, but also in the student café, cafeteria, and other school buildings. You understand and manage groups, conflicts, and other situations that may arise at school. Your position includes, if necessary, conducting individual instruction at another location, known as emergency school.

Employment is 70-90%, time-limited for the period 260101-260630.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with experience meeting youth in groups and comfortable collaborating in teams. You should be comfortable supporting students in their learning in small groups/individually. You are confident in yourself and your leadership and serve as a good role model. You have an interest in physical activity. Previous leadership experience is meritorious.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
