About the Role
As a forklift driver at BAE Systems, you'll become an important part of the internal logistics flow. You'll be responsible for handling and transporting materials safely, efficiently, and systematically within the facility – a function crucial for ensuring smooth production.
Your main tasks will include:
• Internal material transportation within the facility
• Forklift driving with B1 certification
• Loading, unloading, and safe cargo handling
• Support with additional logistics and warehouse-related tasks
The role requires good collaboration skills, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset. The role suits someone who enjoys physical work within a structured flow and wants to contribute to a larger context.
Qualifications
• Valid forklift license with B1 certification (requirement)
• Experience with forklift driving and cargo handling
• Good physical condition and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working at a high tempo and able to maintain structure under stress
