My name is Gustaf Andersson, and I am 44 years old. Four years ago, I was involved in an accident that left me with a spinal cord injury, wheelchair-bound and paralyzed from the shoulders down. This means that I have no hand function and need assistance with daily tasks such as exercise, personal care, mobility, and household chores. My interests include music, cooking, gardening, and watching films and series. I live in Sundbyberg with my two children part-time.
I am now seeking new assistants who want to work with me long-term. It is beneficial if you have a healthcare background and previous experience working with spinal cord injury patients. However, the most important thing is that we get along well.
You need to be responsible, positive, and possess strong social skills. Ideally, you will be motivated by supporting me in my ongoing rehabilitation. Working in my team means we will collaborate to develop both your work and my daily life.
The position is as an on-call hourly employee during day, evening, and night shifts. Work shifts are either daytime 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or night 4:00 PM–8:30 AM.
Start date: To be determined by mutual agreement.
Salary: Hourly wage with individual salary setting per Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal collective agreement.
With the Assistance Team, you will have security through the Almega - Branch G collective agreement, competitive market salary, pension, and insurance protection. All employees also have the opportunity to use a wellness benefit.
