Svenska Trappsteg is seeking a self-motivated employee for Stockholm. Svenska Trappsteg is the largest company specializing in staircase renovation using solid oak and three-strip materials. We have been in operation for approximately eighteen years and are active in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Skåne. Our tasks typically include: - Renovating stairs, i.e., covering stair treads with oak treads. - Painting stairs. - Replacing handrails. - Reducing creaking sounds. - Closing off staircases. Other tasks may also arise. Qualifications: You should be familiar with commonly used tools such as circular saws, multi-cutters, and other equipment, and have experience in painting. We are not looking for someone who is overqualified, as we do not build houses. You will work alongside a colleague until you can operate independently. You should enjoy working alone. You will have the opportunity to trial work for a couple of days to see if we are a good fit for each other before starting a six-month probationary period, with a permanent position thereafter. A DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED. You should have access to a parking space at your home. It is preferable to live around Täby, Vallentuna, or Sollentuna due to our warehouse being located in Täby.
