Transport Manager at Loomis

We are in an exciting growth phase and are now seeking an experienced Transport Manager for a central role responsible for planning, coordinating, and quality assuring the transportation of high-value goods.
About the Role
As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for daily planning, management, and optimization of Loomis transports – both within Sweden and across borders. The role is operational yet strategic; you will ensure that transports are conducted efficiently, in compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures, and contribute to developing our secure logistics processes.
You will become a key team member, working closely with drivers, customers, partners, and internal functions such as operations and security.
Primary Responsibilities
- Planning, management, and optimization of national and international transports
- Coordination of driving schedules, resources, and routes
- Ensuring transports comply with current safety requirements and international regulations (ADR, IMDG, CMR)
- Handling transport documentation, customs documents, and permits
- Continuous follow-up and quality assurance of deliveries
- Reporting and documentation according to Loomis procedures and legal requirements
We Seek Someone Who Has
- At least 5 years of experience in transport management, logistics, or freight forwarding
- Experience with security-classified transports and ADR is highly meritorious
- Good knowledge of international transport regulations and customs handling
- Strong system proficiency, especially in transport management systems and Excel
- Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Post-secondary education in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding is meritorious
