About the Unit:
The Logistics Unit Stockholm is a division within the Life Guards that supports military units from operational locations in Stockholm, Solna, and Kungsängen.
The unit currently consists of a Staff, a Technical Department, a Supply Department in Stockholm, a Supply Department in Kungsängen, and a Mobilization Department. The Logistics Unit contributes to a stronger defense force through well-functioning logistics, unit-close storage management, supply provision, and ordering of material maintenance in peace, during readiness increases, and in wartime. The Armed Forces, and particularly the Logistics Unit Stockholm, are experiencing growth in several areas.

Main Responsibilities
As a transport officer, you will primarily be responsible for receiving and executing orders for rental cars, buses, and taxis. Your work will involve administering orders, maintaining customer contact, and liaising with rental vehicle companies, among other tasks.
The team currently consists of two individuals: one transport officer who manages the internal car pool for the lending of internal Armed Forces vehicles, and another transport officer who handles external suppliers. Our goal is for both of you to have knowledge of each other's work and to be able to cover for one another during peak workloads and absences. We are working towards staffing the operation with an additional individual in the foreseeable future to support both operations as needed.
The work is primarily conducted from the office, but there will also be periods of outdoor work. You should be prepared to assist with washing and cleaning vehicles or helping with tire changes when the seasons change.
Requirements
Qualifications
• At least a completed three-year upper secondary education or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer
• Driving license B (manual)
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Strong administrative skills

You enjoy customer contact and helping others. You have the ability to work independently towards set goals without continuous supervision. Meritorious
• Previous employment in the Armed Forces
• Military driving licenses
• Previous experience in transport administration and administration
• Prior experience in vehicle maintenance and knowledge of vehicle accessories

The Life Guards is one of the largest units in the Armed Forces with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel for international missions.
