The Swedish Armed Forces' Transport Unit is currently seeking a Transport Coordinator for Aviation, who will support the head of the Aviation Planning Section within defense planning and transport operations as we continue our efforts to further strengthen the transport function.
About Us
The Swedish Armed Forces Logistics (FMLOG) is responsible for logistics to our units, schools, and centers, both nationally and internationally. Within FMLOG, the Transport Unit leads and coordinates the Swedish Armed Forces' strategic and operational transports. These transports include personnel, equipment, and entire units, and are conducted by air, sea, road, and rail.

Main Responsibilities
As a Transport Coordinator for Aviation, you will plan and coordinate transports for units and organizations during exercises and operations. You will handle requests for air transports and, when necessary, also for transports using other modes of transport. You will lead and coordinate the use of military transport resources and order transports through international collaborations or civilian suppliers. The role includes supporting the head of the Aviation Planning Section with documentation, administration, and follow-up in the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems, which also utilize international logistics planning systems.
The position may involve participation in international exercises and operations.
Qualifications
• Completed post-secondary education, or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid B driver's license

• Experience in transport planning
• Experience in air transport services
• Knowledge of regulations regarding Dangerous Goods
• Familiarity with the Swedish Armed Forces' material and logistics regulations
• Experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' command support systems (SWECCIS, ISUS)
• Training in LOGFAS
• Experience in overseas service and transport positions

Employment Type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority.
