Emergency Department in Gävle is a dynamic and educational workplace where we receive patients with acute conditions 24/7, year-round. We are approximately 120 employees who together create safe and efficient care. We now offer a trainee program for newly graduated nurses – a unique opportunity to develop within emergency healthcare in a secure and guided environment.
DUTIES
As a trainee, you will receive a structured introduction to various aspects of emergency healthcare. You will work in interprofessional teams and gradually take on more responsibility as your competence and confidence grow.
Program includes
• Individual introduction plan
• Mentorship by experienced nurses
• Practical training in acute assessments and prioritizations
• Rotation between different emergency/ward areas
• Regular follow-ups and skills development
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with an interest in emergency healthcare and a desire to develop in a challenging environment. You are curious, responsible, and have strong collaborative skills. We also seek someone who can work systematically and confidently even in high-pressure situations.
As our trainee, you should
• be a licensed nurse or about to graduate
Previous experience is not a requirement; the most important thing is your willingness to learn and contribute to our important work.
