This includes working with the Swedish Transport Administration and the Sörmland region, as well as with other contact points and external networks to develop the municipality's traffic infrastructure. The role also involves preparing and processing matters for political decisions. You will work closely with the municipality's traffic officers and traffic planners located at the Technical and Service Office, as well as with the municipality's public transport coordinators and other strategists in the Strategy Unit. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Community Building with a focus on traffic, or other education deemed equivalent. • Several years of experience working with strategic traffic planning. • Experience in street design, traffic forecasting, and basic socio-economic calculations. • Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Good knowledge of the Office suite and computer skills. • A valid driver's license (B). It is considered an advantage if you have: • A Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Community Building with a focus on traffic or similar. • Experience working independently with traffic models, data analyses, and investigations in traffic planning. • Experience working with traffic issues and traffic planning in detailed plans and larger community building projects. • Knowledge of traffic regulations, road laws, and the Planning and Building Act (PBL). • Experience working in a politically governed organization. • Skills in CAD. • Knowledge in GIS. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and want you to share the municipality's values - development, respect, openness, and clarity.
