Traffic Coordinator

Job Description Are you an engaged and driven Traffic Coordinator? We at Randstad are currently seeking a traffic coordinator for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Gothenburg. In the role of Traffic Coordinator, you will be the hub of operations, responsible for optimizing, planning, and leading the daily operational flow, ensuring that customers' goods reach their destination on time and with the highest possible quality. We are looking for someone with a strong logistical understanding, who is structured and possesses an excellent ability to handle unforeseen events with calmness and determination. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and are a communicative team player. Responsibilities • Daily optimization and planning of schedules and routes for vehicles and drivers. • Monitoring and tracking of transport flows in real-time to ensure delivery precision. • Proactive management of deviations, delays, and other operational disruptions. • Ongoing communication with drivers, customers, terminals, and subcontractors. • Ensuring that all transports comply with applicable laws, regulations, and environmental requirements. • Administrative tasks such as order management, documentation, and reporting. • Actively contribute to the development and streamlining of operational work. Qualifications • Documented experience as a Traffic Coordinator, Freight Forwarder, or similar logistics role. • Excellent ability to plan, prioritize, and structure your work. • Solid knowledge of logistics systems and planning tools. • Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English. • Ability to make quick decisions under time pressure. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
