About Hvilan Utbildning
With roots dating back to 1868 and looking toward the future, Hvilan Utbildning maintains an excellent balance between tradition and innovation. Hvilan Utbildning is Sweden's leading educator in the green industry and horticulture, owned by Agricultural Societies of Kalmar, Kronoberg, Blekinge, Sjuhärad, and Skåne.
About the Position
We are seeking a committed teacher who is passionate about the green industry! The position involves both practical and theoretical instruction, where you will combine theoretical knowledge with solid practical experience. In Stockholm, we provide arborist training through Vocational Higher Education and run training programs commissioned by the Employment Agency in Maintenance and Landscaping.
As a teacher with us, you will work with course responsibility, planning, and teaching based on current curricula. You will familiarize yourself with and translate course plans into concrete teaching modules, course planning, and assessment criteria.
We are looking for someone with a degree in green education or equivalent – for example, Arborist, Biologist, Horticulturist, Landscape Engineer, Landscape Architect, Gardener, or similar, with current knowledge and experience in the field. You must enjoy and find it stimulating to help students develop and thrive, and be accustomed to leading toward clear goals. Requirements include a B driver's license, and teaching qualification is meritorious but not mandatory.
We Offer
A varied work environment in a pleasant and creative setting where you will work alongside committed colleagues at an engaging pace. Here, you will have significant opportunities to shape instruction according to your own pedagogical ideas and make a real difference in our students' futures.
