Ekhammarskolan is centrally located in Kungsängen, with around 700 students and 100 employees. The school includes grades 4-9 as well as two community-wide teaching groups for grades 4-6 and 7-9.
**Job Description**
Do you want to inspire students to find joy in creation and equip them with tools for life? We are now seeking an engaged wood and metal craft teacher for our school – an educator who is passionate about combining traditional craftsmanship with modern expressions.
As a craft teacher with us, you will teach students in grades 4-9 in both wood and metal crafts. You will have access to a well-equipped workshop and collegial support from a close-knit team. In your teaching, you will work based on Lgr22 and encourage students to think creatively, take responsibility, and develop their practical skills.
In addition to craft teaching, you will serve as a mentor for a grade 7 class, which entails monitoring students' social and academic development, maintaining contact with guardians, and collaborating closely with other teachers in the team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a teaching license with qualifications in wood and metal crafts for grades 4-9
- Is confident, clear, and structured in their leadership
- Has the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
- Wants to contribute to a positive environment where students' curiosity and creativity are central
- Enjoys collaborating and developing teaching together with colleagues
