ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, a leading Nacelle MRO within Commercial Aviation, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will take full ownership of the company’s tool management system, ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 and internal quality standards.
As a Tool and Calibration Supervisor at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, you will be responsible for various duties aimed at enhancing our tool control processes, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and improving overall operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
• Taking full ownership of the company’s tool management system, ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 and internal quality standards.
• Managing calibration schedules and ensuring timely follow-up using a digital system.
• Overseeing maintenance and condition checks for all tools to guarantee operational readiness.
• Ensuring proper storage, traceability, and availability of all tools.
• Handling procurement of new tools and replacement of non-conforming items.
• Managing the tooling budget, including cost control and forecasting.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits related to tool control.
Required skills:
• Technical background in aviation maintenance or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with AS9110, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Strong understanding of calibration processes, tool control, and maintenance systems.
• Proficiency in using digital systems for calibration management and tool tracking.
• Strong skills in procurement, process development, and continuous improvement.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Experience:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tool management, calibration, or maintenance within an MRO or aerospace environment.
• Proven experience in procurement and supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and improve processes and routines.
• Experience in implementing or working with digital booking and tracking systems for tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory audits and compliance reporting.
• Previous experience in a leadership role with personnel responsibility is an advantage.
