The Department of Children and Education operates on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary School Committee. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary schools, and adapted primary schools. We welcome you to apply for a temporary position for the spring term as a primary school teacher for after-school care at Tomtbergaskolan.
We are a municipal school with grades F-6 located in central Huddinge. Currently, 487 students attend our school. The school, along with its playground, has undergone a significant renovation and expansion that was completed in the autumn of 2021. We have access to fantastic facilities, a large light hall, a mini-auditorium, and other resources that open up opportunities for school and after-school activities.

About the role
As an educator in Huddinge Municipality, you will implement the school's curriculum in your daily work, including through pedagogical documentation. Together with your colleagues, you will create conditions for children's learning and development by supporting the individual child, challenging norms, and actively working against discrimination. In your role as an educator, care, upbringing, and learning form a cohesive whole.
You will now have the opportunity to become an important part of the team for grade 1, where you will collaboratively create an educational environment for our students. You will systematically and continuously follow up and analyze the pedagogical activities in collaboration with other staff. Your responsibilities also include improving the school's quality and thereby enhancing the student's opportunities for development and learning.
Your main tasks:
• Lead, plan, and ensure quality in the daily work of after-school care.
• Systematically follow up and analyze the pedagogical activities in collaboration with colleagues.
• Work to develop the school's quality and thereby strengthen students' opportunities for learning and development.
Who are you?
• It is a requirement that you are a qualified primary school teacher for after-school care and have experience working in primary school.
• You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and can translate the curriculum's goals into practical work.
• You have good IT skills and can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
You have a positive approach, where the child is always the focus, and you treat everyone with care, kindness, and respect. You have the ability to consider both the individual child's and the group's needs, creating an environment with students and colleagues that promotes quality, clarity, and structure.
The position starts on January 7. We place great importance on personal suitability for the role.
