The Datacenter group is a team consisting of a stable core of IT technicians, System Managers, and Technical Architects. We are responsible for the Prison and Probation Service's server solutions, virtualization, and surrounding systems. The organization is undergoing significant expansion, and we need to plan for an environment that meets both current and future requirements. As part of this group, you will work with positive, engaged, and knowledgeable colleagues who have a strong drive to do a good job and create value for our operations. The group works together to ensure that the authority has modern, user-friendly, and secure solutions that facilitate everyday work. RESPONSIBILITIES As a service manager, you will be responsible for operation, maintenance, and refinement of our server service offering to ensure smooth and efficient functioning for our users. You will collaborate closely with other team members and external providers to ensure that the system meets our requirements and needs. The position also involves coordinating with other service managers and technical architects in the area. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes significant responsibility for tasks and projects. You have the ability to structure your work independently and drive processes forward with good results. Furthermore, you are analytical, breaking down problems into smaller components and working well with complex issues. In your work, you have a strong focus on goals and results, which is reflected in your priorities, planning, and actions. You can also change direction when the ultimate goal changes while maintaining calm and focus. Finally, you have high collaboration skills and are both attentive and communicative. It is important that you share the Prison and Probation Service's fundamental values of a humane view of people, respect for individuals, and belief in human will and ability to develop. We are seeking candidates who have: • Complete high school diploma or other education combined with experience deemed relevant by the Prison and Probation Service • Experience working with server infrastructure and virtualization • Experience working in large IT environments • Good knowledge of servers and storage • Good knowledge of IT security • Ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish and English It is meritorious if you have: • Certifications in relevant technology and system administration • Experience working as a system/service manager • Experience steering and leading assignments and/or projects • Experience leading and collaborating with IT providers • Experience developing and following up budgets • Experience working in the Prison and Probation Service • Experience with ITIL and PM3 OTHER To be considered for employment with the Prison and Probation Service, you must meet high standards regarding suitability, judgment, security and confidentiality awareness, and compliance with applicable laws.
