About Viljan Säviq Women’s Treatment
Viljan Säviq Women’s Treatment is a residential care home (HVB) in Söderhamn that offers qualified treatment for women aged 23 to 75 who are dealing with issues related to addiction, criminality, and mental health. With 24 treatment places, we utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the foundation for our treatment efforts. Women from all over the country come to us, and they are welcome to bring their pets!
About the Role
As a treatment assistant with us, you will play a crucial role in our clients' journey towards recovery. You will support, inspire, and care for clients in their personal development. With the help of our dedicated treatment team, which has a strong client focus, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for the clients. The treatment team consists of therapists, treatment assistants, nurses, doctors, coordinators, the operations manager, and the deputy operations manager.
In this role, you will work closely with clients and, based on individual treatment plans, conduct support conversations, actively participate in group activities, and be a responsive and engaged colleague in the daily operations of the treatment home. The work involves a variety of tasks and requires flexibility; therefore, you need to be solution-oriented and capable of working both independently and as part of the entire team. We expect applicants to have a professional and empathetic approach, with a strong ability for clear and direct communication.
The position as a substitute worker entails irregular working hours, including day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and awake night shifts.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Relevant completed or ongoing post-secondary education of at least 2 years in healthcare and social services, such as a treatment educator or nursing assistant.
• Excellent proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• B driver's license.
Meritorious:
• Previous work experience in treatment work within HVB and/or addiction issues.
• Education and/or work experience in CBT, MI.
• Experience in documentation, with the ability to accurately manage record-keeping and follow up on treatment plans.
