Job Opportunity: Part-Time Relief Workers in Functional Support Services
Within the Social Administration, our Functional Support Services provide support and assistance according to the LSS Act (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). LSS is a rights-based law designed to guarantee individuals with extensive and long-term functional disabilities good living conditions, necessary daily life assistance, and the ability to influence their support and services.
We are currently seeking part-time relief workers who can work flexibly and with short notice within our Functional Support Services.
Job Responsibilities
As a part-time relief worker, you will work at one or more units within our service area, covering for absent staff. The work involves providing support and care to users based on individual needs. You should be able to work at least three days per week.
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years or older
• Support assistant training is preferred (healthcare/social care program focused on disabilities or child/leisure program with pedagogical or social work orientation)
• Experience working with individuals with functional variations is advantageous
• We also welcome inexperienced candidates planning to pursue a healthcare career
Requirements
• Fluent Swedish language skills (speaking, understanding, and writing)
• Strong personal suitability
• Responsible and flexible attitude
• Interest in supporting people in their daily lives
• Some positions require a valid driver's license (B-license)
Employment Conditions
• Part-time, hourly paid temporary position
• Varying shifts (day, evening, weekend, occasional night shifts or sleeping on-call)
• Ability to report to work within one hour of being called
• Arranged childcare required
• Availability will be managed through the Time Care Pool system for five-week periods
