In preschool, you will work as a substitute in a team with other educators, collaborating with them to support the children's development and learning through play and educational activities. Your goal, along with that of the preschool, is to create an environment and activities that challenge, engage, and lay the foundation for learning for all children. In primary school, you can work with children in after-school care, as a resource, and/or in teaching from preschool class up to grade 9. The role involves substituting for regular staff and conducting lessons in the classroom. It is important that you find it motivating to teach and can engage and meet all children and students according to their individual needs in a pedagogical manner. We are currently recruiting for the spring term of 2026. As a substitute, you will primarily work during the day. You will be placed right in the middle of the operations, where flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to different routines and new environments are expected. High adaptability and responsiveness are essential for quickly integrating into the work and thereby contributing to a functioning operation. You should be able to work at least 2 shifts per week. Furthermore, it is important that you are responsible, proactive, have good collaboration skills, and can set boundaries when necessary. Qualifications We are looking for candidates who are over 18 years old. You should have a completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on Child and Leisure. It is advantageous if you are currently pursuing a teacher/early childhood education degree at a college/university. You must also have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with children, students, guardians, and staff, as well as to document what the operations require in our systems. Therefore, a minimum grade of E in Swedish at the upper secondary level or Swedish as a second language (SAS) is required. We also have a need for substitutes outside central Trollhättan, so it is highly advantageous if you have a driver's license and access to a car. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
