About this role
Do you want to help create safety, joy, and learning for children? As a substitute staff member in our preschools, you will play a significant role in everyday life. We are currently looking for more substitutes for preschools throughout Sundsvall Municipality.
Within the Department of Children and Education, our approximately 3,000 employees meet around 14,000 children and students in more than 100 preschools and schools across the municipality every day. Every child and student in Sundsvall Municipality's preschools and schools should be able to develop, learn, and achieve their goals based on their individual circumstances. Every student should leave school with the desire, knowledge, and good conditions to face adulthood and the future.
You will be offered a job that is both meaningful and developmental. You will be part of the children's learning, play, and development while collaborating with colleagues who share your commitment. We especially welcome those who want to work frequently, as your presence makes a difference for both the children and the organization.
Our recruitment process is digital and will be conducted via video interviews that you can respond to at your convenience. If needed or requested, a phone interview can also be arranged.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The preschool's mission is to provide care, development, and learning for children.
The employee is responsible for promoting children's safety, development, and learning in collaboration with the team. You will work with colleagues and follow the routines at the preschool where you are employed.
The tasks involve daily pedagogical work with the children, such as participating in their indoor and outdoor activities, meals, and other tasks that arise in the preschool.
Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday, but may vary.
As a substitute in Sundsvall Municipality, you will be directly booked for shifts through our digital system, Time Care Pool. You are responsible for indicating which days and times you are available to work in your calendar. Based on this, you will be automatically matched with the organization's needs, often on short notice. When you are booked, you will receive a text message.
