Are you someone who could step in when needed and become a familiar face for our children at Vildingen Preschool? If so, we welcome you to send us your CV.
Vildingen Parent Cooperative in Kortedala is currently seeking a childcare worker who wants to work at a small preschool with experienced staff.
Nestled close to nature in northern Kortedala, you will find our small parent cooperative that has been established since the 1990s. We currently have 17 children enrolled, and our preschool is situated in a spacious facility with its own outdoor area, close to an exciting forest area. We are a non-profit economic association, unaffiliated with any religion or political group.
About the position
The staff team currently consists of a principal/preschool teacher (25% principal, 75% preschool teacher), two childcare workers, and one kitchen manager/childcare worker.
The position is a part-time hourly contract as a substitute and is an agreement to work for a specific period, with pay disbursed hourly.
As a substitute at our preschool, you will be involved in the children's daily activities. The role entails close contact with children, guardians, and colleagues.
Some advantages of working at a parent cooperative are that you will be greeted by engaged guardians who handle practical tasks (cleaning, working in the children's group, board responsibilities, etc.). Additionally, the decision-making process is more streamlined.
Who are you?
We are looking for a childcare worker who is attentive, present, and curious. It is important for us that you can build trusting relationships with our children, and that you are positive and easy to collaborate with your colleagues.
You should enjoy working in nature and be hands-on, as our environment and creative activities are central to our operations. An interest in gardening is a plus, as the preschool has its own greenhouse.
Since we are a parent cooperative, it is crucial that you feel comfortable with close collaboration with guardians, who are also the employers.
During the recruitment process, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities. The most important factor is not how much experience you have; we are more interested in who you are and how you can contribute to the organization.
Start date will be agreed upon. Selection and interviews will take place continuously, so you are warmly welcomed to submit your application now. Please send your CV and a personal letter to:
