Part-Time Substitute Staff for Malmö Youth Centers!

Ref: 20252525 Part-time Staff Wanted at Youth Recreation Center! We are seeking a confident and stable adult with high personal maturity. You are a positive role model for youth, have the ability to set boundaries, and are flexible in your approach. Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in young people aged 10-18. The need is primarily during evenings and weekends. You will be asked with varying notice if you can work when needed in the operation, with the option to accept or decline the shift. Selections and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. Job Responsibilities As a part-time employee at the Youth Recreation Center, you will work to create an inclusive and meaningful leisure experience for youth. You will promote participation, support young people's development, and contribute to a positive community at the recreation center. Your main tasks include: • Creating safe meeting spaces where youth (10-18) feel welcome, seen, and respected. • Being a present and attentive leader who builds trusting relationships. • Stimulating participation and influence. • Collaborating with colleagues and other actors to enable a meaningful leisure time for the target group. Qualifications • Hold a youth recreation leader diploma from folk high school, or other relevant post-secondary education combined with experience working with youth aged 10-18. • Currently studying to become a youth recreation leader, or pursuing another education deemed relevant by the employer. Other relevant post-secondary education may include pedagogy, social work, or social sciences such as youth recreation leader, social worker, social educator, teacher, criminology, sociology, gender studies, sports science, international relations, or human rights. • Have concluded professional career but possess relevant education and/or professional experience working with the target group. • Have good Swedish language skills, both verbal and written Additional Merits: • Previous experience working with youth aged 10-18. • Specialized competence or special interest in areas such as dance, music, sports, or community organizations.
