Your role will involve care work, with work shifts tailored to the needs and wishes of our elderly residents.
Tasks may include social interaction with our elderly residents, assisting with meals and personal hygiene. For us, activities for our elderly residents are a crucial part of daily work, and we actively strive to continuously develop this aspect.
Work hours vary between day and evening shifts, including weekends. Common work schedules are 06:45-15:00, 07:00-15:30, 13:00-22:00, and 14:00-21:30. We apply a 37-hour work week for our day and evening staff.
As a temporary on-call staff member at Jonseredsgården, you will be scheduled for shifts through the municipal staffing unit. They will contact you when needs arise, and bookings are managed through the Heroma system.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone curious and open to developing in the role! You must be at least 18 years old, as work occurs at irregular times that may include evenings and weekends (AFS 2023:2).
To thrive in this support role, we seek someone with a genuine interest in working with elderly residents and contributing to a safe and meaningful daily life. You need to be able to work at least four shifts per month and be flexible when needed. You should also be able to handle documentation and communication via computer or mobile phone. Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required as the work involves close contact with residents, relatives, and colleagues, as well as documentation.
Experience in elderly care is meritorious but not mandatory. The most important qualities are your commitment, collaboration skills, and willingness to learn.
