About this role

Do you want to contribute to a developing, safe, and joyful education for our children? We are currently seeking substitute staff for several of our preschools in Kristinehamn Municipality. As a substitute, you will be booked when regular staff are absent. You should be able to travel to the workplace you are assigned to on short notice. We hope that you can work at least two days a week. Of course, we will take into account if you are a student and need to dedicate more time to your studies during certain periods. Preschool and after-school activities are governed by the Education Act and curriculum, which outline the goals for education and the perspective on humanity that should prevail. All children and students should have influence over their day and be treated with respect. The School Administration's area of responsibility encompasses all children from preschool age up to the completion of high school. The activities include school staff, preschool, primary school, special education, high school, and cultural school. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Welcome and mark attendance when children and students arrive and leave • Lead gatherings and activities • Be responsible for various teaching situations • Set up and clear meals as well as receive food deliveries • Participate in outdoor activities • Encourage and engage in children's play As a substitute, you will register in our staffing system when you are available to work. If we need a substitute at one of our preschools when you are available, you may be booked for individual shifts or longer assignments on short notice. Our substitutes are a very valuable asset for us, covering for regular staff during their absence. QUALIFICATIONS You need to be at least 18 years old and have education, experience, or interest in working with people and service. Proficiency in Swedish is required. You are a self-reliant and responsible person who enjoys interacting with both children and guardians. You have a clear sense of service and are skilled at handling various situations effectively. It is important that you are a positive person who finds it easy to collaborate with others, can take initiative, and also follow existing routines. To be considered for employment, you must present the following at the interview: • A valid personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website www.skatteverket.se. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. • A valid extract from the Police's criminal record. The extract for work within schools, preschools, or childcare (4425) can be ordered from the police authority's website. Group interviews will be conducted on December 12.
