About Eneborgsvägen
Eneborgsvägen LSS housing supports children and young people with diagnoses within the autism spectrum and intellectual disabilities. We work individually based on Nytida's pedagogical framework, which builds on low-affective approaches, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and complementary communication (AAC). The goal is to provide the support you need to become increasingly independent and prepared for adult life. The facility is located in Värsås outside Skövde, and five young people aged 11-18 live here.
Our geographical location provides good conditions for outdoor activities in the local area and activities in places like Skövde, Skara, and other nearby towns, which also have good bus connections. The nearest bus stop is 450 meters from the residence, and it takes 17 minutes to Skövde.
About the Role
As a housing support worker, you will base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing daily support through a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you will work to make each day meaningful and rich. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community interactions, and communication. An important part of the work is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans. Work hours include daytime, evening, night, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You should have a high school education in healthcare and social care or an equivalent qualification. You need good Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, computer proficiency, and documentation experience. Experience working with this target group is meritorious. Your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right personal qualities, we will support and help you grow.
