Temporary Staff for the Staffing Units within Functional Support
We are looking for individuals who want to work as temporary staff within the administration for functional support! The operations are divided into geographical areas: Central and Hisingen.
You will be placed based on need and demonstrated interest.
The operations have different focuses within functional support. Within residential care with special services, users have various physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities. Day activity services conduct activities with a habilitative focus and more production-oriented tasks. Housing support assists users in their home environment with motivational support and care.
The work involves a variety of tasks such as providing educational support in daily life, personal care, and typical household tasks like laundry and cooking. Challenging and self-harming behaviors may occur. Part of the job also includes documenting users' development and needs. The tasks also entail medication management as per delegation. By being there as support for our users, you contribute to a meaningful everyday life.
As a temporary staff member, you will cover for the absence of regular personnel in the operations. You will be offered flexible working hours during daytime, evening, or nighttime on weekdays and weekends as it suits you. You can control your working hours by entering your availability and receiving work requests accordingly.

We are seeking temporary staff for our two Staffing Units: Staffing Unit Central / Hisingen and Staffing Unit North East / South West. Central / Hisingen covers the areas of Johanneberg, Majorna-Linné, Örgryte-Härlanda, and all of Hisingen. North East / South West covers Angered, Kortedala, Bergsjön, Gamlestaden, Olofstorp, as well as Frölunda, Askim, Western Gothenburg, Styrsö, and Högsbo.
As a temporary staff member with us, you will work with people with disabilities and be placed in one or several of our operations. Our operations have different focuses within functional support:
- In residential care with special services (BmSS), users have various physical, mental, or intellectual disabilities, and you will support them in their daily lives both in and outside the residence.
- Day activity services provide employment for individuals with disabilities, focusing on habilitative activities and more production-oriented tasks.
- In housing support, staff visit homes of individuals with, among other things, neuropsychiatric disabilities and provide support in the home.
- In short-term housing, support is provided to adults with, among other things, physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

Qualifications
You need to have a good command of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms, which means that a passing grade in Swedish 1, Swedish as a Second Language 1, or equivalent is required. Those who do not meet these qualification requirements may be offered to take a language test through the testing provider Educateit.
In this role, there may be instances of working alone. In accordance with (AFS 2023:2 Chapter 6, Sections 56 and 8), you need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible for the position.
Experience in working within functional support, care and nursing, or educational and social work is an asset. Qualifications or ongoing education as a support assistant or nursing assistant is advantageous. Similarly, having completed or ongoing training in educational or social work is a plus.
